FOOD FOR THOUGHTS

We are joining forces with Bobaji Village School to help the most vulnerable children by providing them a meal.

A critical issue in the region is the struggle to afford food. Disparities in educational indicators such as school progression, retention, and dropout rates

associated with wealth remain high in several countries. Secondary school children frequently drop out of their education, further increasing the poverty cycle.

By providing a simple meal at secondary schools, we offer motivation for parents to enroll their children, meanwhile encouraging the existing students to remain there and focus on learning. In Bobaji Village, a kitchen currently works with local women who are employed as cooks.

Our aim is to provide lunch for 230 children on a yearly basis, estimating that the cost of the dish is US$14 per trimester.
